Warm days seem to be over for the year, I need a lighter hat for this weather in the 40s and 50s. Ran pretty fast today because I was cold, head hurt a bit- especially towards the end. I closed at around 6:00 pace for the last half mile.

This year I've been averaging 12-15 miles per week pretty consistently. It isn't perfect, but it's also not bad at all for a guy just trying to maintain shape and make it through grad school. For general health purposes I always want to average at least 8 miles or an hour total per week, so at least I'm above that. AndI have stayed above that every year except for 2019 when I only averaged 5 per week. Strangely I was faster at the end of 2019 than I am now. Possibly because of my sinuses/nasal polyps.

Recently, my achilles have been feeling better than they have since 2017, and I think after my surgery I may have some great life conditions to train more all through next year. I want to be running 3-5 times most weeks next year. Maybe I'll become fast again!
