Easy run today except for when I ran to the Brighton track I just was so happy to be on a track I ran mid 5 minute range mile haha, it felt nice though so that's encouraging. Hopefully I will be in good enough shape for sandy classic I can battle for sub 17:00, it's a slow course so I think that's a reasonable goal. I'm also trying to run on the road more to get my legs used to it, they don't like terrain that isn't grass very much right now. Which is great for cross country, but for training when I get back to cedar they need to good on the roads too. My ankles felt fine on the roads and track today, which accounted for 2.5 miles of the run. The only time my ankles hurt was at the beginning of the run.
