Ran for Alta and SUU on their Cross Country/Track and Field teams

2014-2015 Alta Track Athlete of the Year

Have a had a couple good placements in mountain races

Short-Term Running Goals:

Stay healthy and and build mileage

Run a marathon in under 3 hours once marathons start taking place again.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Keep running

Run the Boston Marathon at least once

Make a glorious return to spartan racing

Long standing goal of running a sub 5:00 mile every year for as long as I can. Started 2012 (8 year streak).

Personal:

I ran for Alta high school and was trained by Coach Murphy, he is a great coach, one of the best there is. I ran for Southern Utah University for a year or two. I am currently a doctoral student at Bowling Green State University studying industrial organizational psychology. Right now my main goals are to stay healthy and run consistently.

3 miles at 7:30 pace, 2 of them on the treadmill.

Febraury is always a pretty rough month, especially for running. I'm going to run twice before next monday, that's the goal. Lifting is going well, need to get moving on my thesis but that's easier said than done. Grad school is certainly a balancing act, everything will get easier and more enjoyable once it's warm out though.

Ran to the gym and did chest day, then ran to the track and did 4 laps. My Achilles was getting tight so I took a break and massaged it before heading home.
